The name Nord-UTTE comes from the Swedish name of the group (NORDisk koordineringsgrupp för Utveckling av Testmetoder inom Toxikologi och Ekotoxikologi). The group aims at integrating the scientific and regulatory work on chemical testing in the Nordic countries. This is done by organising Network Meetings and supporting projects involved in the development of test methods. Nord-UTTE is a subgroup of the Nordic Chemicals Group and financially supported by the Nordic Council of Ministers.
NordUTTE's 7th network meeting took place 3rd-5th September 2008 at Solbacka in Sweden (read more and find the interesting presentations under Network meetings).
